Current focus

Embedded as VP of R&D leading AI agent system rollout across two acquired vertical SaaS platforms. Days are split between architecture decisions, agent reliability work, and the boring-but-important integration glue between legacy ERP and modern event-driven services.

Open for

Advisory engagements (1–2 hours/week) for AI-native and vertical SaaS leaders. Currently full on contracting capacity — next contracting slot opens July 2026.

Reading and learning

Working through the recent literature on multi-agent coordination failure modes. Re-reading Kleppmann (DDIA) for the third time as the data layer continues to be where most agent systems quietly fall apart.

Saying no to

PoC-only engagements with no path to production. Generic “AI strategy” consulting with no technical depth. Fixed-bid work on undefined scope.
